A live action role-playing game (LARP) is a form of role-playing sport where the participants physically act out their characters' actions. The players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world, while interacting with each other in character. Wilarp is set in the Renaissance themed fantasy type games.
Interactive game play from the Wisconsin Live Action Role Playing Association (WiLARP) is extremely fun and addictive! While the game is easy to play and understand, the rich stories are coupled with exciting interaction, quests, games, trading, battles and so much more!
Getting started is easy. Simply join us at one of our games and take the tour or sign up via our interactive website www.wilarp.com. Since WiLARP holds high safety standards, all players are required to complete a general safety tour and training seminar. This ensures that all players have the basic understanding on how to play the game while getting the most out of each gaming session!

Our events are filled with song, dance, costumes, merchants, props, player quests, adventures and more! Games come to life in our live event locations or “Realms”. Soon some realms will have overnight camping, food bands etc. this way you can stay in character for an entire weekend while being entertained and bringing your character to life!

We are constantly evolving the game to keep it fresh at each event. New abilities roll out all the time so there is always something your characters can improve on. WiLARP is an official chapter of LarpCraft, Inc. This means our rules are easier to understand, gameplay is much more exciting and all your Experience Points (XP) are global!
Great Website
XP, monthly giveaways and more! This system will keep track of your stats, bios and other information on your beings. You will be able to tell your characters story, share pictures and video & grow your characters abilities. Admins protect stats and points while experience will change when you join us for actual LARPing events. Excited yet? Wait... there's more :) We take character building seriously and unlike some other forms of LARP, death is rarely forever. The one unique trait that all realms have in common is the ability to re-spawn. However, rebirth and resurrection can only be done in some areas.
Expansion
Wilarps vision of larger scale events are hosted in a weekend format and players Are able to come in Friday night and enjoy constant game play until we wrap up on Sunday. We have massive realms with camping and a festive atmosphere complete with music, entertainment and areas to enjoy the grandest camaraderie!
We are with you every step of the way
WIlarp players are here to help you learn and grow with each game and also online through our forums, pictures and videos. Players are expected to respect each other and to perform admirably while interacting. While battle are fought with safe foam weaponry, no player is to bring real weapons to any game unless otherwise stated in the event postings. Excessive foul language, taunting & un-sportsmanship will get players banned. Players who prefer no violence will never have to do battle via our non-battle player status! Like many medieval towns of old, WiLARP games have much more to offer. It is not all about battles, it can simply be a great place to hang with friends in a renaissance style environment. Our games are designed for adult players 14 and older and may involve adult themes not suitable for small children. We plan on offering children games when demand increases.
